Hi there! I will try to make this short and sweet. I am currently working with a wonderful ministry that serves (in part) recently released ex-offenders. We help our clients find employment and rebuild their life in a (hopefully!) better direction.  I have been with my hubby for almost 15 years and we have kiddos. 

I thought I had gotten LE out of my system years ago but I can't seem to shake it .   I plan to speak with a few police recruiters this week to see if I have the right qualifications to join their departments. I guess I am on a search to find a way to blend my passion for  social services and law enforcement  if that even make sense.......I have huge respect for all first responders. Even if I never become one, I know I will do all I can to support my local pd.

I have already discovered a wealth of info from this site and I look forward to learning more.

 Thanks for the welcome! I "axed" about my chances as an officer and it is a definite no-go due to my health. I feel very much at peace (like I have a choice..lol) because I know that God has something else in store for me. They encouraged me to apply for an admin assistant or dispatch position. Can't wait to see what the furture holds...
