I will pray for him to get well

My mother hated going to doctors waited until she could no longer stand the pain and was admitted into the E/R on Christmas Eve 1982 for severe abdominal pains.  "Merry Frickin Christmas, your mother has..........." you already know the answer.  Doctors gave her 6 months on the outside but were not very hopeful.  We were really lucky to have her around for the next 3 1/2 years before the disease finally took her.  I am convinced that had she gone in with the first few signs that we would likely have had her around much longer.  That said, I also believe that the Lord works in mysterious ways and we witnessed many miracles in those 3 1/2 years.  Keep at him and make sure that he sees a doctor and does not ignore this.  In the meanwhile, prayers are being offered for him and for you.

I'm sorry for your loss Ron, the thing with my dad is he has told me before if he ever got cancer he would not want to know he watched his own dad suffer with leukemia ....he told me that before in random conversation we are very close if it does come back as cancer I honestly think he would just give up :( I'm trying to not be a negative nancy and assume the worse but my dad means the world to me and this is going to be a tough rd if it is more then a cyst.

You got it Fate.Anything for a friend.Not only my joib,as a minister,but my pleasure as a Christian.In for the long haul,Blessings.My wife and sister are breast cancer survivors.

My family has been devastated by this insidious disease. My father, grandparents, aunts, and uncles have all been taken by it. Most recently, my older brother was taken from us by it last July. On the upside, my sisters, niece, nephew, and several cousins all survived it.  I will pray for your father, you and your family.

 Your dad is in my thoughts and prayers.  My father has two different types of cancers and also diabetes  In fact, he has a lot of health issues.  My dad is one of a kind.  He has such a great demeanor and sense of humor to be battling all of his ailments.  Deep down inside, he's a fighter.  I hope the cyst will be benigh, if a biopsy is done.  Best wishes....
