I am selling a badge collection, 30 years in making,  of entire sets of Boston Police, NYPD and various other state and local departments. There are Federal Olympics, inaugural, antique reproductions as well as other commemorative pieces, lapel pin sets, etc. I also have a  letter signed by J. Edgar Hoover to a retired FBI Agent, with accompanying FBI Memorabilia.

I hope whomever you sell your collection to is a law enforcement officer and you require proof. I am opposed to badges in the hands of civilians.

 I see how you would want badges out of the hands of civillians because it is pretty much a good idea but I'm a civillian and have been collecting badges since I was 11 and I wish that people would restrict the sale of badges to LEO's but I also wish there would be a way for collectors to be verified so that they could also collect because badges are in my mind pieces of art and I love collecting them and I hope to continue collecting for a while.
