| Posted about 1 year ago I will be checking Taking Chance out real soon. Tears of the Sun was a great movie too! For me, it showed me the evil that men do, man's ability to show compassion, eliminate evil and be human! |

| Posted about 1 year ago Lanier38345: I remember watching," Adventures in babysitting," when I was a kid, I loved it. Also saw a re-run of , "9 to 5, " later-- guess I didn't have much of a choice because it came a year before I was born.....but I thought it was awesome. Lilly Tomlin, Jane Fonda and Dolly Parton worked well with eachother. Cool movie

| Posted about 1 year ago I'm with you Al-Siege of Firebase Gloria, rocks. Tears of the Sun, Taking Chance, Courageous, Facing the Giants, Fireproof are all favorites of mine. One recent one I saw was Warhorse. I wasn't expecting much, but was pleaseantly suprised. Somewhere a true believer is training with one goal in mind...to kill you...will you be ready when you meet? | Posted about 1 year ago I watch a lot of documentary shows / movies. Military movies are top on my list, but I'm not sure any really made me tear up, but some have brought back some unpleasant memories of things. I really Liked "Gardens of Stone". "We were Soldiers", the combination of the keltic hymn and battle scenes. I'm a student of military history, so it choked me up a bit, particularly when he's preparing his family for the deployment. During my multiple deployments I always did well at preparing myself and my soldiers, but prepping my family was the hardest. Being a paratrooper, I really got into "Band of Brothers" and despite having seen it multiple times, I will always go out of my way to watch it. Recently, 2009-2010, the documentary "Firebase Restrepo" was a touching one because it showed the bond that soldiers make with one another when thrown together in combat. When that bond is made nothing can put usunder... |
