sorry about the bad grammar and punctuation, first off. my phone is being a major pain. i have recently taken a job as a walmart ap and while i was training, i was able to pull stops  left and right. now it seems im in a slump and my boss is riding me, because his boss is riding him. so im curious to see if anyone, preferably another lp or ap or an apc or apm, can email me some pointers to help out. i cant afford to step down or leave walmart right now due to personal concerns and problems, so any and all advice would be great. ive read some posts from other apas and i have taken that into consideration. please email me if you have any advice. thanks.

Don't reply... I work in LP and this sounds like someone trying to get some inside info. Bare profile, only 1 post, no intro...

If you work for WM 90% of them and what I see most AP's do now in stores is sit on cosmetics and watch the personal care items i.e comdoms and pregnancy tests. You are almost good to hit maybe 3 or more aday if the store is besy. a lot of girls and older woman jacking that stuff non stop. But other then that I will not say to much due to what others said above me. Good luck! and not every one is good at that.

I contacted this person after he posted this topic,

He was having trouble trying to catch shoplifters cause his boss wanted him in a certain area. I gave him some advice on how to catch a shoplifter.

He has actually caught some.

Good job

I would imagine Wally World has a pretty good trainig program.  At least the one in my area does.  Can't see needing pointers.

Like Doc said.......

First and foremost, I WAS a real AP/LP at Walmart. Secondly, The only reason I had a bare profile is because I was using my phone and had little, to no, way of posting much on here. Third, I no longer work at Walmart as AP/LP. I was let go due to missing a court date. I will add more to my profile as time goes on.

Walmart doesn't have anything as far as a training program  here. It was more like walk around with the current AP and see what s/he does. I didn't get much more than a week long training at another store. I've trained a few other APs and taught them what I knew. I topped out at 12 stops in a month. Unfortunately, I was helping my APM more and more in the office, so my numbers began to shrivel. I made a mistake and missed a court date. I was fired for it. So now, I help my ex-APM in keeping an eye out on her APs and keeping them on their toes. One of them knows who I am, so I can't do much for her, but the other one doesn't know what I look like.

So for those of you that doubted me, I can give you the information that might prove it wasn't a fake/trap post. My Asset Protection Manager was Dortha Frost. My Market Asset Protection Manager was Dustin Mayfield. I'm eligible for rehire next month, but I won't be going back to work for them. I have also been looking into trying to join the Bellevue (Nebraska) Police Department. I'm still working on some things for that though.
