My name is Dave, I'm currently in the Air Force as a SF member. I've been in for just over 3 years and looking to get out soon. Stumbled upon this site, I look foward to networking with other military members as well as with LEOs and discuss the differences between 'civilian and military' LE procedures. If anyone has any questions please feel free

While thats a good idea, I decided the best course of action for myself is to get out of the active duty side and get into the guard side, persue a higher education then to apply to local/state/federal LE positions. Military has treated me good, gave me the opprotunity to travel and meet some of the greatest guys and gals, but I'm ready for that 'next step' in life

I would suggest the reserves and if the law enforcement thing does not pan out go back active duty. I discouraged my son from seeking a law enforcement position and he is near retirement with the military.

WELCOME TO PL.

Good luck in your pursuit.  Do remain in the military and get that 2nd pension.  Guard or Reserves is a good plan, especially while attending the University...
