Posted about 1 year ago Due to budget cuts it is becoming extreamly hard to find departments that are hiring in the Washington State area.
My question is for people that already work for a department. Is your department, or any department in your area, hiring? At this point in time I am willing to work any where in the US...
Thanks |

| Posted about 1 year ago If your interested in Highway Patrol, the South Carolina Highway Patrol is probably hiring. For some unknown reason 60 troopers have left the dept last quater and more ar following. You wouldn't go in there for a million bucks...A Cop does it for less...A Reserve does it for free.... |

| Posted about 1 year ago There's a bunch of departments in Florida hiring; catch is they have 1-2 spots and 50 applications. I have actually ran into the same people at different department application processes. |

| Posted about 1 year ago Check out this site: http://www.theblueline.com/ It's mostly for Illinois, but others are listed. Good luck. "People sleep peaceably in their beds at night only because rough men stand ready to do violence on their behalf."

| Posted about 1 year ago The agency I'm currently testing with had about 400-plus applicants for 20 positions. http://www.iamsorryivotedforobama.com/ How's that HOPE and CHANGE working out for you? What would you do for a Klondike bar? |

| Posted about 1 year ago Duran, there are several agencies here in North Carolina that are hiring. Most big cities have their own academies which they will pay you to attend. You can also get a sponsor and go through NCBLET at a local community college. BLET is worth 19 credit hours towards your eventual degree by the way. The North Carolina Justice Academy had a series of job listings. I would post the link but.....we simply cannot in here. The North Carolina State Highway Patrol IS running an academy this year (I guess they found soe funding!). They actually start off at a decent rate of pay. You can't cure stupid. |

Santa Barbra County S/O (California) Is hiring Deputies and Jailers right now I'll put in serious consideration if and when Monterey County S/O is hiring Deputies. That's the closest I'll ever come to living in Carmel lol. http://www.iamsorryivotedforobama.com/ How's that HOPE and CHANGE working out for you? What would you do for a Klondike bar? |

| Posted about 1 year ago It's a pretty long process, but CBP has OFO Officer open announcements on USAjobs until the end of May, 2012. May not be the ideal position for someone looking into local law enforcement but never hurts to keep your options open. Appying and taking the test doesn't lock you into anything and it's a pretty good start in the Federal System if that's what you're looking for.
