Insight into what?

If you can put some ice in a glass of bourbon I can drink it. If you can't I can still drink it.

I was thinking about being a trooper with the Oklahoma highway patrol. I looked at there site but I was hoping to get some information from an actual troopers point of view, Who has been on the front ine of it.

My best advice would be for you to go on a ride along. You are going to have a hard time getting a trooper to talk about his work to a complete stranger on the internet. Call up the department and see if it's something they offer. Then you'll have one on one time and first hand experience. That would be the best way to see if you'd want to pursue police career.

A ride along is a good idea. A trooper will probably not discuss with a total stranger.
