Posted 4 months ago Do you miss it! I don't like conflict, but it is a necessary evil and a fact of life! Do we need a place to call some @sshole out who you felt disrespected by in a semi-private area of PL away from the general PL public! I miss the opportunity to really let folks know how I really feel about them or an issue without being sanctioned for calling it like you feel! I'm sick with PM's about this guy or this girl. It's time to man up and put your keyboard fists to work! |

| Posted 4 months ago I apologize to new members who do not know what fight club was. Fight Club was once a place on Pl where folks could go to iron out their differences without it being in the discussions or forums. It also allowed these members the opportunity to freely speak thier mind without being sanctioned. A moderator would declare a winner and the fight/argument would be over! The PL members who did not want or have a need to watch this debate were able to interact on the regular forums or discussions without all this noise from whoever had a problem with the other member! |

| Posted 4 months ago I think it should be brought back. Wow! I have been on here since 2009 and I don't remember Fight Club, either that or I wasn't paying attention. Sounds good to me!

| Posted 4 months ago By that I mean it takes more than a Brass Set to openly call people out and open yourself to criticism. Most people don't have it in them to argue their point/issue openly. I for one have meet people on PL who would rather tuck tail and run to a MOD. I will admit that in the beginning of my return due to the new P&P's, I was somewhat fearful of speaking my mind as I didn't want to end up sanctioned. However had there been such a place I can tell you that I would have loved to sink my teeth/claws into certain HorsesAsses! I would have gladly bowed my head and accepted defeat should the time have come. I know that I am not always right and life is about learning as you go. But if you have to walk away from such fights, than what have you really learned? |

| Posted 4 months ago Hmmmm..... I think I will recreate the Fight Club. It was dismantled quite a while back when the frequency of Call Outs dropped to zero. It could be reinstituted with the same Fight Rules: One to One only. Observers welcome but no ganging up on a person. It was private and you had to have permission to be part of the Fight Club. Did I forget anything? Oh yeah... if someone Tapped Out, it was over. FORUMS ADMINISTRATOR

| Posted 4 months ago Unfortunately I remember the old fight club and for the most part the only thing it solved was who was or who was not a TROLL. Facts and rhetoric became one in the same and regardless of who was right it became a "Debating Class" with neither original participants only because the peanut gallery was always getting involved in something they had an "OPINION ONE AND WOULD SIDE WITH THEIR FRIEND" rather then the emergence of factual talk. If you have any common sense there is no use in arguing with a wall "AFTER ALL YOU CAN'T FIX STUPID"!!!!!!!!!!! | Posted 4 months ago I always enjoyed reading the posts in the arena. Whether or not it ever solved anything is debateable, but then that's the whole point, to debate and vent. Bring back that fight club feeling. It would be righteous brother... |

| Posted 4 months ago I have mixed feelings. Like others, I have doubts as to whether it really solves anything. On the other hand, I would be guaranteed the pleasure of seeing certain folks who have no impulse control step on the foul lines that will either get them temporarily or permanently sanctioned. |
