Hey guys I do a lot of work with law enforcement officers and I am trying to get a better understanding of how to get in front of and work with police. I am looking to work closely with and donate money to a police association. Which one should it be PBA or FOP both seem to run good programs for officers and do work to help them and protect them any thoughts?

Both are representative organizations. It depends on the jurisdiction for which they represent. Start with your local PD/SD and find out about their programs. They are more likely to point you in the right direction.

Since both FOP and PBA collect dues from members, I would suggest you donate to C.O.P.S. (Concerns Of Police Survivors), and organization that helps the spouses and children of LODD Officers.

Uncle Dennis the profile is skeleton that is what my position at MetLife prefers. I am looking better reach out to police officers and am looking for as much advice as I can get. As I have progressed and become more involved with law enforcement officers I have found more venues to reach out to the community.

I think C.O.P.S as well because your money will go for a good cause.  Not that the fraternal organizations are not good causes, but as an FOP member, I have seen where my lodge has done very little except raise the dues every year to support other agendas.  That is just my opinion and reflects no one else on or associated with FOP or PL...
