Wife is letting me pick my christmas gift this year!!! Told her to buy a springfield XDM 45ACP Compitition series.  I am looking for input from anybody out there with any experience with it. I never take the salesman's comments very seriously due to their motivation to sell but want to hear what others think about it.  It feels good in my hand and although the mag drop is a little stiff I think that will loosen up with a little use or my thumb will become a little stronger.

I do noy now about the .45 ACP but I own it in 9mm and it handles like a dream. Fantastic weapon!
