People like you need a serious Baba in their life so she can get the siba and knock that foolishness out of your head! Adapt, improvise and overcome.

| Posted over 1 year ago I can tell you, although you won't believe me, because you think that at 17 you already know everything there is to know, that at 17, you do not know enough about life to move out and start your own life with this guy or anyone else. At 17, you are still a minor child in the eyes of the court. Your parents are responsible for you legally and financially until the day you turn 18. You can probably file to be an emancipated adult, meaning that you can show the court that you are finishing school and have a physical means to support yourself and have your parent(s) sign off on it. That said and not knowing how long until your 18th birthday, is it really worth all that or can you just wait............ or is exercising a little bit of patience too difficult for you. Don't be in such a hurry to grow up that you put yourself in a position to learn some real hard and difficult lessons from making some really bad and poorly thought out decisions and choices at such a young age. |

| Posted over 1 year ago Now to the OP (Original Poster) Sweetheart your only 17 if things are so bad at home that you need to get out don't be stupid. Find a family member or female friend to move in with. It's never a good idea at such a young age to live with a member of the opposite sex. I know this from experience. While my hubby & I have a beautiful 2.5yr old son & have been together for 12yrs now. We have also been through a LOT & both wish that things were/had been different. PLEASE be smart about whatever decision you make! Best Wishes! DPalmer |
