Posted over 1 year ago I was married 20 years (second marriage) and divorced. I started dating a week after we seperated. I started attending singles dances. I am not into blind dates however, that is also an option. Ask friends regarding their single friends. Not to brag I would date several ladies. My best advice is don't rebound and protect yourself. Remember VD is nothing to clapp about.

Posted over 1 year ago They say the best place to meet men is in the grocery store. You'll notice they will strike up a conversation with you in the produce section. I think it is much better than if they try to chat you up in the meat section.

Or if you find yourself back in the meat section...

Posted over 1 year ago First of all welcome to forum... and I just have to say you are a brave soul... I'm currently in the same boat was in a ten yr relationship married for 8 and going through a nasty divorce it will be final in aprrox 14 days we have been separated for six months not living together..I'm on the fence with dating..I've been on one date he was a paramedic a decent guy but honestly it's hard to be with someone else it's very akward. when you are used to the same person. ..my marriage ended due to domestic violence he assualted me and he filed.. but I also left with no intentions of ever going back... he filed before I got the chance too delivered the rough draft of our divorce papers to me on what would have been our eight year anniversary. the same exact day... what a sweet gift probably the best gift he's ever given me lol..... the best advice I can give you is good luck finding a decent guy they are usually already married, waay far away, or not interested ..I've come to the conclusion I will probably never get remarried and I'm learning to adapt to the NON-wife role that has been the hardest part for me loosing that role b/c I was a good wife I was just a good wife to someone that did'nt appreciate it..never thought to look in the produce section though..... lol....... a guy that can cook is added brownie points in my book any day...as long as he's buying romaine lettuce he might just be a keeper... In Life we should experience an adventure that will create a memory worth repeating.....unknown.....

Posted over 1 year ago I've heard about the produce section . I think I'm going to change stores because there isn't anyone in the Wallymart that I've seen. And the other store I go to it's all old people. Hey wait a minute I am old too. I have a 90 YO man at church calls me his sweet heart But he calls all the women that. YaYa Sister

Posted over 1 year ago Pick a produce section in a market where the single guys who love to cook show up. It should be one that has good values and a wide selection of quality. Of produce, I mean. And of men. lol

| Posted over 1 year ago Just chiming in, I would say first of all to give yourself some time and work on yourself, get to know yourself again and spoil yourself a bit. I personally chose to stay single for several years now after a long relationship that turned bad, just renew myself, I feel I'm a better person for it and can actually be emotionally available for the right person. Remember who you are, sometimes in long relationships you can loose who you are, Get to know yourself again you may really like yourself and decide to give yourself some time, also that way you don't carry any baggage into another relationship, let the past go and open your mind and Heart to new Beginnings.... Have Fun! Oh and yea it does not hurt to go shopping at the grocery store! just see who's out there, just make sure he's not a celery stalker, BWAHAhahahaha...... Good Luck!
