^^^^^^^What he said. Just because you scored in the high 70's and low 80's does not guarantee you moving to the next phase. Some agencies will only pick a handful of candidates that score in the high 80's and 90's. With a poor economy these days and the numerous applicants testing, agencies can afford to be picky on choosing candidates.

How's that HOPE and CHANGE working out for you?

What would you do for a Klondike bar?

Go to the library and get the study guide. Also, you need to really work on this, a lot of applicates make in the high 90's. We only hire from the top !!!! (yes, I'm in La. and know what I'm talking about !) Which exam are you taking?

go to the Louisiana Civil Service website and look around. I don't think you have to schedule the test anymore, just walk in with a filled out application. The website will let you know when and where the test is given.

My advice is to study up on any book that you can find in a library or online. Also from someone who has taken many many entry test, study on your english and writing. I've taken test were the entire test was nothing but spelling and grammar. Since most of the time police are writing tickets and reports, these are skills that are important to know before going through an entry test.

You wouldn't go in there for a million bucks...A Cop does it for less...A Reserve does it for free....
