I thought since we have a prayer request topic that we should also have a praises topic. I believe that not only should we share are prayers with each other but our praises to God in what He has been doing in our lives.

To start this topic off I would like to praise the Lord for answering my prayers and all the prayers that you guys have given that I would find a job. Well as of this week I have a part time job with an entertainment place where we have a hockey team and many concerts. Even though its only a couple days a week, the Lord has provided me this opportunity . I just want to thank you all for the prayers during this difficult time, I'm still not out of the water yet, but everything is looking very well!

Also want to praise the Lord for a lot of things that have been happening this week. I have seen God do miracles this week right in front of me and it just blows my mind! What an awesome God we serve!!

This is a great idea!

I just want to praise him for the little things that we often take for granted. I just got through watching Rio with my 4 yr old and 16 month old. I just praise God for the time I get to spend with my boys.

I'm married to the LORD..no prenup

wow how long  of a list can we create? :) this year has been an EXTREMLY rough year for me a few members here know the drill and what i've been through going through...but honestly I'm still very humble like you mentioned God is doing amazing amazing things in my life...I am thankful for my faith in christs that he will pull me out of this valley, I am thankful for my family and my friends that have supported me, thankful for my courage to remove myself from a bad situation, it's hard to start over but I know better things await...every prayer I've been praying is slowly getting answered so i will just trudge on even if it's at a turtle pace not as fast as I would hope I know there is a purpose.. So i guess  my biggest praise is God's will and direction in my life through my hard times.

Oh man!  This is a slammin'  idea!

I want to give God praise for the many miracles I have seen Him perform.

My friend's doctors said she would never walk again.  I watched her get out of her wheelchair and run the aisles of our church.  They gave her less than two weeks to live - that was over two years ago and she is still going strong!

A lady at our church couldn't lift her right arm.  I saw God heal her and she is fine now.

A little boy's eye dr. said he would need glasses (not even in school yet).  God healed him - no glasses - perfect vision now!

I had two vertebra out of place and He healed me.  Then He healed my dislocated shoulder.  I hadn't been able to raise both hands to praise Him for four years.  Now I can raise them both straight above my head.

But my most extravagant praise is for the miracle He performed when He reached down and scraped rock bottom to save my soul.  No matter how many healings I receive or witness-no matter how many blessings He bestows on me-no matter where He takes me from and to - NOTHING will ever compare to the miracle He performed that night 11 years ago.  I will never forget it.  I haven't gone to that church in four years but I can still see that night like it was yesterday.

I sang the song "My Alabaster Box" yesterday at church.  I believe that song could be my personal testimony (and probably everyone else's).  We don't know where God has brought others from but we know that He can - and does - save and cleanse us.  I could never praise God enough for that.

And that is my praise for today.  Stay tuned.  I may think of something I forgot and list more later!!  :)

I also think it will be a ongoing thing... we have so much to be grateful for and thankful in our lives.... the list is never ending....i never receive a blessing without giving praise... very humble to what God has done in my life and will continue to do... I believe that we each have an intended purpose while living on this earth I hope that I have met his expectations of whom he wants me to be...

In Life we should experience an adventure that will create a memory worth repeating.....unknown.....

I am thankful for all the little things in my life.  Like finding stuff I am always losing, the parking spot close to the door when it is pouring down rain. Some times we tend to not look at these things as from God. But they are.

Wanted to praise the Lord for allowing me come again to my family yesterday. Had a VERY scary call that lead me and my partner out numbered by a gang. I am so thankful for his protection and guidence over the situation. As I was sitting their I prayed that this situation wouldn't go south. I just want to give God praise.  Not for anything specific but I just want to praise Him.  He saved my soul and that is more than enough for me.  I could never give Him enough praise for that.

He has blessed me in so many other ways, so many times I could not possibly list them all.  But the most important blessing I have received is GRACE.  His forgiveness is more than enough for me.

He is THE ONLY awesome, mighty, powerful God.  There has never been and never will be one who compares to Him.

I want to give HUGE praises to God tonight!!!  Our church had "Sonfest" yesterday and today (That is why I haven't posted our next Bible study.  Sorry guys!).  It is like Vacation Bible School only jammed into 2 days!  The theme was Superheroes.  The kids learned about Jesus, Who is THE original Superhero.  They also learned how He gives them strength and courage to be superheroes for Him to the world.  It was AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!  After their lessons they had crafts, snacks, games and today they had inflatables and a cookout.  Everything went wonderfully!  We had quite a few more children than last year, too!

We are slowly but surely reaching our surrounding community.  We even had 3 groups of people just show up today because they saw the inflatables and wanted to know who we are and what was going on.  That gave us a chance to reach out to both the children and parents!!  God is sooooo good!

I want to praise the Lord just because......I want to praise for everything He has done and will do. So thankful for everything God has given me, even though I do not deserve it at times. Praise the Lord for keeping me safe for the last 3 years while working the streets. Praise God for providing things in my life just because He can provide them.

I want to praise the Lord for providing me the strength, courage, and wisdom to get through every day as a stay at home mom of 3 little ones (though temporary, still a challenge). I couldn't do it without him and he never fails me to revive me daily with just enough grace to tackle another day.

I thank God for both Jesus Christ and the bible for without Jesus we could not have a relationship with God, and th bible is the best guidance & inspiration I have every found!!!

I could go on for an extended time, I have been shot, stabbed, broken neck, flamed out a Crown Vic at over 100 mph. I have an awesome family, friends, and church. Employed with decent pay and benifits. etc etc etc. If not for God's Hand on me and the love of Christ I would be looking at the grass from the root side. Even if I was killed in the line of duty tomorrow I would be at the feet of our Lord for the rest of eternity.

I praise my Heavenly Father for His goodness. When I retired almost 2 years ago, little did I dream that I would reach a point where the finances were as low as they are, and I would need to resume work full time to cover benefits. After much searching, I have found a job, While not law enforcemet related (I will still be able to teach), it is a golden opportunity, one that has His hand all over it, and I am excited to be able to help and educate my generation. I also thank Him for sending a wonderful, supportive and caring man into my life. David was answer to prayer; I am SO blessed.

I know the Lord tells us in His word that we are to praise him even though we might be in trouble or in hard times. So as I am going through some things about where the Lord wants me in my life I just want to praise His name!! Thank you Lord for everything and I will praise you always!

I want to praise Jesus for being the awesome, loving and healing Savior that He is. He has changed my life dramatically (and I mean extremely dramatically) since He saved me, and I know that for the rest of my life I will never turn my back on Him, nor will He turn His back on me. Hebrews 13:5 says this: "Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, 'Never will I leave you; Never will I forsake you'." This is a really powerful verse for me. Everyday I see Him, and it just makes me want to see His face all the more. Thank you for posting this thread and giving us the opportunity to praise God in yet another way!! God bless you all and I hope that He blesses you more and more with each day.

"I will walk by faith, even when I cannot see..."

"Never give up, NEVER BACK DOWN!"
