If you are the same individual from the other forum, it's good to see you here. If you're not the same individual, welcome to this forum. |

| Posted over 1 year ago I dabbled in Security years ago starting out on a Campus, and almost went into Plain Clothes Investigations were you pose as a worker and do a daily report. *snitch, lol'z. Wasn't my Calling, but I did supervise at Bloomies restaurant for over 7 years PT, and juggled working at the Stadium. Bloomingdales and Macy's are sister companies intertwined by Federated, so if you ever move away from a Macy's, it would be an easy transition if your near a Bloomingdales. You'll find most of your action is going to start around holidays. Staff (like they do at the stadium) will try to walk out with money bags around this time, Boosters will be boosting. Don't be fooled if the person has money, they manipulate price tags(then) and they steal too!! These stores usually have an employee incentive when someone is caught stealing b/c of their tip, not sure if this applies to LP. Bloomingdales went all the way up to $1,500.00. I've seen a restaurant server rat out another server(they didn't get along to well, lol'z) for stealing checks+Cash patrons left on the Table. Well one day she got issued a check of her own, for $1,200.00 after Security/LP ate there!!! What doesn't kill me had better start running! |

| Posted over 1 year ago hahaha thats great. I take embezzlement cases all the time now. Cashiers taking thousands of dollars within their time frame they have been working at the store. Merchandise walking out the door during 3rd shifts...its crazy. When I switched stores I walked into a sh*t storm of employee theft cases. External cases (shoplifters) are always my favorite though. |
