Hard to believe that it's been 10 years since the Tragic and Unwarranted attacks on the Twin Towers, the Pentagon and the Heroic Deeds of the passengers and crew of Flight 93!!

My Thoughts and Prayers are with the Victims, the Families of the Victims and the Survivors who are still dealing with the first hand Memories!!!

If you have a fixed flag (such as pictured below), add a black streamer to the top of the post.

The Black streamer should be as wide as the stripe of the Flag, and as long as the Flag.

As a retired vet, I too have always flown the flag, as has my father-in-law, a Pearl Harbor Survivor and vet of WWII.  Be safe all and remember those both present and past.

I was only 6 when the towers were attacked. I still find it hard to believe it happened. But each time I look at Ground Zero, it hits me hard. My thoughts and prayers are with the victims and their families. GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!!

The question came up about the black streamer. If you have a fixed flag (Porch Flag, Deck Flag, Auto Flag, etc) that does not raise and lower, tie the black streamer between the top of the Flag and the top of the pole.

Took me a while, but I finally found a graphic for it.

On the 10th anniversary of the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001 I stand with the millions worldwide who pause not only to remember the horror of that day and the pain of shocking loss, but to salute those who, even in the face of tremendous risk, selflessly committed themselves to helping the helpless and to those who immediately stepped forward in defense of our country. In the midst of chaos they stood as an inspiration to us all. A decade later, I have not forgotten. I never will.

Prayers Continued for all Americans affected in whatever way, no matter what state, by the tragic events on 9/11.    My heart aches for the families of the deceased. For all the Volunteers and 9/11 Heroes-You're Appreciated by Many-Know this.

Missed my Meeting today at the Stadium, but I have no Problem being there tomorrow as coworkers, Friends and even Patrons will be comforting each other.  In times like these we all support each other-none of the usual coworker bickering or moaning about our job.  There may be some tears I'm sure, but one thing I will say to those that may be a little uneasy about working at a large venue close to ground zero is this.....  We have NJ's finest and a few of NYC's finest in the house-I'm not scared, not even a little. 

If not too busy, I will try to snap pics to Share. I'm sure our {NY JETS} Tribute for tomorrow September 11th, 2011 will be awesome.

(My internet went down just before the blackout last Thursday.   Just got it back up today.)

911, Ten Years Later -  Mourning

Hung our flag in front of the house. The wind whipped it aloft against the blue sky. 

Watched all the ceremonies and the 911 Commission's report.  Learned many new things. 

Spent the day crying on and off.
