Posted over 1 year ago Hi all--I am looking to start a full-time bike patrol team at my station in a contract city in California. I work for the Sheriff's department and the city contracts to call us "Police". I am looking to apply for a grant to completely fund a small team (4-8 officers) including equipment, training, salaries, etc... I'd love to hear from Anyone with any experience obtaining a JAG grant. Thanks, Matt |

| Posted over 1 year ago I'm not sure that this will help, however if you get in touch with the San Bernardino Sheriff Training Center they have a cirtification class and program for bicycle patrols. The department has had a part time unit for about 10 years. Grants at this time are slim pickings. It would help if I knew where in SoCal you are. |
