I know this has been discussed 913 times but I can't get enough gun talk soooooooooo.............

If money wasn't an issue what HANDGUN would you purchase for every day carry?

I am currently looking at the Custom Crimson Trace Kimber .45 but I am concerned that it only holds 8 rounds...  For half the money I could go with a Glock/Springfield that would hold twice the rounds and be just as accurate.....but Kimber is so....."pretty"...

The Springfield XDM is a fantastic weapon. I have one in 9mm which I carry for off duty. It carries 19+1. Takes a whole box of ammo to fill up 2 mags. If what I am shooting at doesn't die after 39 rounds I will run.

You can't cure stupid.

Not broke at all, just trying to get the most "bang" for my "buck".  But as far as being bored goes....yeap.....but I'd rather have opinions than wise cracks...could be a reason this site is dying?

As most know I am a huge fan of the 1911. I feel well equipped with the 45acp and 25rounds at my disposal on duty and carrying one extra mag off duty, either my Ed Brown Kobra or Heirloom Precision Custom Kimber. Shot placement and tactics will get you through the day, not expending rounds just for the sake of pulling the trigger. My second choice is my Glock17, grip reduction and internal package, Warren Steel Tactical Sights.

10mm, 15+1 full metal semi-auto pistol. I'm not a fan of SA/DA guns, but I could love the Fortis.

The one I carry now...Kimber TLE.

I've carried it for almost a decade with ZERO malfunctions. It's been with me on patrol and on tactical issues. Nothing but confidence...

Were it not bought and paid for I would replace my G27 with the M&P 9c.  Neither fancy nor expensive, but I don't get too deep in the weeds with handguns.  I only need it to conceal well, have good ergonomics in my hands, be reasonably accurate and reliable.
