I believe it was Elaine who posted last year to warn LEO's to be careful with driving because there were A LOT of automobile-related deaths. Knowing that, I am rather alarmed that deaths by gunfire are some of the causes of death moreso than vehicle-related.

RIP to the Fallen and may the angels watch over and protect those still with us.

And thank you Tim for compiling this!

GOD BLESS all our fallen brothers and sisters. I will say a prayer for them their famlies, friends and departments.
I will also say a prayer for all of us out there doing the job everyday.
As you look at these numbers remember something. Train hard and be sharp. Take what happened to them and use it to be safer officers.

May all these men and women rest in peace.  I pray that their family, co-workers and friends heal as best they can from the loss of these heros.  Thank you all for your service and sacrifice.  You are not forgotten.

How to recognize a COP? Is easily recognizable, runs toward the place where everyone is fleeing.
