I am happy to say I am less than 12 hours from completing my dream with graduation coming up.  I will make my promise now I will work in my best efforts to uphold the profession in the highest standards. I once again thank everyone who is on this forum that has helped me along the way. Monday can't come quick enough.

Ooooh-kay ....

So are we talking about graduation from a police academy?

If so, is it an academy for a specific agency or do you now need to hunt down a position somewhere?

In any event, Congratulations on this milestone event !

Yes the graduation is from the police academy and  I am going straight to work for a department. I was given the chance to test while I was paying for it on my own, and tested extremely well for a department that I really wanted to work for. The department decided to wait it out for me which I am very grateful for. I was very proud of the fact I was chosen being the only non certified applicant that tested. I appreciate the comments though.

Thought I would update everyone on the whole FTO program. I have done extremely well in the FTO program and was given the keys to my patrol car in 7 weeks. I am still in a "ghost" phase, as my last FTO will show up to calls that I am on within a few minutes just to see how I handle the situation. I know some people have kept up with me since I started asking questions on these forums, so i thought I would share the progress. Well hope everyones doing well.
