Posted about 2 years ago Well all, the questions keep on coming and I hope that I have been able to provide the answers you have been seeking. At this point most everyone who has applied is asking the same question; "When will we know if we are being considered for the position?" If you have taken the writing assessment, you are closer than the majority of applicants. Thousands upon thousands of people, both internal and external to the Federal Government, had applied to these positions all across the country and the weeding process has been tremendous. Thus far, for Vapor Wake (Public Area Searching), only about six locations have been identified as actively seeking out their applicants as TSA HQ has identified the number positions to be filled at each of the six locations. TSA HQ's is still deciding on the number of positions for other locations. My location, for example, is still waiting to find out what our allocation will be. I need to check our internal canine site again for exactly which locations are currently hiring and get back to you all. |

| Posted about 2 years ago Thanks for the info Ed. I've been wondering about the very same thing. I took the written and was refered 5-8-10, but just like anything else, it's hurry up and wait. It seems like I would be used to it by now...HAHA |

| Posted almost 2 years ago Thanks for the update. I'm wondering why some have taken the written and most haven't. Is there anything I can do to take the written assessment or do I just have to wait to be invited?
