Hi, everyone,

My name is Taylor; I'm 19 and from Chesterfield MO.

I am the daughter of a former officer; my dad was a police officer for about 12 years before I was born, and an investigator for several years after that. I've grown up with a deep respect for our LEO community!

I just finished my sophomore year in college, and will be beginning my junior year in August. I'm majoring in International and Cultural Studies, with a focus on Middle Eastern studies. A fascination of mine - I speak passable Spanish, and have learned a decent amount of Arabic too. I'm not fluent, and definitely can't pass for a native speaker, but I have learned a reasonable amount. Along with basic conversation, I've also picked up a lot of military and police related vocab, so feel free to ask away if you'd like to learn some interesting and/or useful stuff! 

Criminal justice/criminology and all things law-enforcement-related are another passion of mine. I haven't really considered a career in law enforcement, but I have really enjoyed the glimpses that I've gotten, so who knows! I have some health challenges that aren't too severe, just enough to be mildly annoying, so I am not sure how that would affect things.

Dad taught me how to shoot several years ago; I shoot a Walther P22 LR pistol, a Smith & Wesson .22, and occasionally Dad's .45 or Glock 19. Just discovered the Beretta CX4 Carbine, too. (Dad is an FFL transfer agent, so he gets info on all sorts of interesting firearms, and of course we just HAVE to try them out! )
