| Posted about 2 years ago yes, it is Ruger's version of the AR-type rifle. it shoots and handles great. i have had a lot of suggestions about what type of sling i should getr, but i just wanted to get a broader range of opinions.

| Posted about 2 years ago I use the Magpul MS2. Its design allows the operator to use it in single point mode or two point, Use the Magpul ASAP plate with it. That will allow 180 degree of motion, transition between left and right hands, and if you need to go hands on or switch to non-lethal you can put it in two point mode real quick and it will secure the rifle and keep it from swinging around banging against you or the suspect. I will attach some links for all the hardware you need for this set up if your interested, it works great for me.

| Posted about 2 years ago It is not quick adjustable sling, I think that one is the Blue Force Vickers which is also a great sling, but it is a dedicated 2 point. I am a big fan of single point as a primary with the option to go to 2 point if need be. I tried to post the link in here but it wont let me, I will try to PM it to you let me know if it works.

| Posted about 2 years ago Skdtac is where I got my MS2, they have a wide range of slings with user reviews. I went with the MS2 for the diversity of single and two point and the QD from the weapon. Posting links is an issue, if you want a link PM me. Good luck. |

| Posted about 2 years ago Thanks for all the feedback!!! It will make my decision easier. I am also looking at the Vikings Tactics 2-point sling. One of the members of our SST / SWAT Team uses it and says that it is great with transitioning from long-gun to hand-gun. He has 2 of them. Any feedback about the V-Tact Sling??? |

| Posted about 2 years ago I prefer an adjustable 2 point. I use a V-Tac with mash hook attachments. I tried a single point but it flops around when I drop it and on the move. The 2 point stablizes a little better. Plus with the mash hooks I can undo the front point and clip it together for a single point if the urge strikes me. Can't post links but you can search V-Tac sling on Brownells |

| Posted about 2 years ago I also use the BlackHawk Storm single point. I use the "Tactical Storm Quick Detach XT". I also got mine from LA Police Gear. The quick detach makes for ease of grounding/securing the weapon without having to remove the entire sling. It therefore goes back in palce faster as well. If you can put some ice in a glass of bourbon I can drink it. If you can't I can still drink it. |

I dislike single points for those reasons also. I prefer a 3 point with my M4. I make my own but they are similar to the Bulldog Quick Release stye.
