Posted about 2 years ago I was at a local pawn shop the other day when I saw a Surefire M6 Guardian light. I guess they didn't know what they really had because I was able to pick it up for $15. A new one would cost you about $425.! Anyways, it works great putting out about 500 lumens of retina-searing light. I can't seem to find a weapon mount for it though. While not for sure, I think the body is about two inches in diameter & I can't seem to find a weapon mount for it (besides duct tape...). I'm probably gonna put it on the 870 as I already have a TLR-1 for my M4. Any hints or suggestions? |

| Posted about 2 years ago let me start with a question on my own, is the light set up to mount on a pictinny rail? Then go to Midway USA's website and type in #491217 into the search function and see if that would work for you. on a different computer now, here is a clickable link: http://www.midwayusa.com/viewproduct/?productnumber=491217 |

| Posted about 2 years ago If the answer is yes to your question TLeeworth, this may have been one of the easiest questions ever to answer... wish they were all that black and white sometimes. |

| Posted about 2 years ago Sorry Cory, not so easy... No, there is no mounting hardware on the light itself- I'm thinking I'll need some type of ring mount that'll encase the actual flashlight. It's hard to describe other than it looks like a "regular" cheap flashlight a civilian might carry in the glovebox that holds two D size batteries. I've seen the weapon light used overseas on M4's by some troops so I know there's a mount out there- I just don't want to buy it from Surefire because you have to buy a light WITH the mount & it's priced around $750.00. The flashlight itself can be seen here: http://www.surefire.com/M6-Guardian |

| Posted about 2 years ago Did a quick search. Thry one of these websites: http://www.brownells.com/1/3/shotgun-flashlight-mount http://www.tacticalshotgunaccessories.com/ati/lightmount.htm http://www.botachtactical.com/vlscmo.html Not sure if any of those will work, but hey; I tried. |

| Posted about 2 years ago OK you need this as well as what I said above : http://www.midwayusa.com/viewproduct/?productnumber=231391 ,using a 3rd computer, you may have to copy and paste the link, this computer doesn't do clickable links. http://www.midwayusa.com/viewproduct/?productnumber=231391 back on 2nd computer so make link clickable, with this and the item mentioned above the flashlight can be attached to an 870. |

| Posted about 2 years ago If it was made in China, it's a durn good knockoff and I'll be buying stock in that company! No, it's not a knockoff, just an older model one I think since everybody's going to LED & smaller is better kind of thing. It's diameter is maybe a little thicker than my old kel lite but about a third of the length. |

| Posted about 2 years ago Until monster fixes the HTML problem, its copy and paste time, though it sounds like items 491217 and 231391 together should allow you to mount the light. |

| Posted about 2 years ago Try a set of scope mounts and a rail then attach the scope via hose clamps or black electrian tape. Ok that is cowboyed up but it will work LOL Bad stuff happens to good people, handle it and overcome.
