Posted about 2 years ago Update: Mother-in-law is up and mobile with a walker in the hospital and the doctors believe that they took out all the infection. Now just hope for her to have the strength to recover and make progress to go home. Andrea is coming back home today since the prognosis is sounding positive. Makes me very happy to hear my mother-in-law is improving, and anxiously awaiting the return of my wife.

Posted about 2 years ago Update: My wife Andrea has returned from Kansas and at the end of the week last week my mother-in-law was discharged from the hospital and began the road to recovery, with home health nurses and plenty of doctor visits in her future for sure. Things are working out positively for her at the moment and the thoughts and prayers were more beneficial than words can describe. God bless and stay safe always my wonderful PL family.

Posted about 2 years ago Update: Andrea's mom got to come home for a few days but developed a high fever the other day and returned to the hospital with a fever of 103 and was basically packed in ice at various times to lower her fever. The docs basically said that she was having a reaction to the antibiotics but had to run their course with the fever.

Posted about 2 years ago Update: Andrea's mom has once again been discharged from the hospital, and is back at home and stubborn as ever. Fever has not returned and sounds like the wound vac is presently working and keeping the infection at bay. Long road to recovery yet, but back on the right track. Thanks again to my PL family for being there for her and being as great as always.
