You could probably rely on your own senses on this one. It doesn't take much to make a slick video to sell a product, whether real or imagined. I respect all those in security positions as long as they do their job and try not to go beyond their particular training limitations and job description scope. Attempting to look like a LEO and being one may be two different things. Again, I appreciate most security assignments, armed or otherwise. They are my eyes when I can't be there. But when it comes down to it, they will call us when it's time to do some face time with the other side. Yes, armed security confronts the same morons we do, but being a LEO is, by all measures, something different altogether.....

Well in Oklahoma you have to pass an MMPI to get an armed license. Any way I Guess i kinda worded this wrong, I know this is dumb I should have just put as the topic. It is not about whos job is more dangerous or who is better. One thing that gets me about security people is that they will walk around with their badge clipped onto their belt for all the world to see. When I go out in public I keep that shite tucked. I don't want anybody to know that I'm a LEO without me telling them (and I don't do that unless I have to). Don't they realize that they are taking their lives in their hands by doing things like that. Some turd tries to rob the quickie mart or mcdonalds that they just happen to be in and see's that badge they're toast. The turd is gonna ghost them without thinking. Not to mention the whole gang thing of getting street cred by offing a LEO.

My fiance (even after a year together) still hasn't gotten used to the gun always being on. Even if I go down to the blockbuster (which is only half a mile from our apartment) i put my P99 in my waistband. Every now and then when I head to the office on a day off I'll carry exposed in a paddleback kydex but even then I have a habbit of covering it up. I've been in a convienence store on one occasion when a turd tried an armed robbery and I might have been shot in the back of the head if he's seen a badge. The morons in this video seem like the type that would get concealed carry permits and try and carry their weapons out with their little security shields like they were the real thing. Deal is that real LEO's don't advertise what we are. Number 1 we don't want the attention, number two if someone is acting stupid the element of surprise is a great weapon. JD if you hope to be a LEO someday, PLEASE don't be like these idiots.
