| Posted over 2 years ago I've heard of deputies having to rotate "jail duty" before, so yes, it's possible. If your talking about a state department of corrections, probably not. I've never heard of a state policeman or highway patrol pulled to a facility for anything other than a riot. |

| Posted over 2 years ago If you are an officer working the street the question may become........why would you want to go work as a C.O.? Not that there is anything wrong with being a C.O. but the thing is......you have put some of those folks away in the jail. You may be putting yourself in harms way by them trying to get some sort of revenge upon you on the inside. There are plenty of opportunities for "extra" employment on the outside of the jail or prison, go for those. You can't cure stupid. |
