Posted about 2 years ago Hello all. I wanted to send out a post saying that in 23 days I will ship to Recruit Training to become a United States Marine! I am very excited. The only reason for this post is just me saying how amped I am, however, if anyone would like to leave stories about themselves in the Corps, advice, or anything else that seems cool, reply and we'll have a nice post going on. | Posted about 2 years ago Well best wishes to you. Enjoy your time earning your Marine status. It will probably be some of the best training in the world you will ever receive. (I will always defer to the SEALs as having THE best training. If you had said you were heading off to Coronado, I would have indeed been very impressed. Sorry, Shock... still representin'...) |

Oh come on now!!!!!!! You know looking back you've got some funny stories!!! I know I do!!
Bottom line, your not going to like it. Your not supposed to either, but the day you leave you'll be thankful for everything you just went through!! And you'll laugh about the majority of it!! Also, a friendly tip. NOTHING you do will be right. Get used to it 3 B's of Law Enforcement

| Posted about 2 years ago Thank you Jack for volunteering to serve. I can't speak on the Marine side of the house, but as a Vet I can say that no boot camp is a cake walk. Well, maybe Club Diego from the old days (sorry Sarge). The fun will start soon enough though. Listen to the old dogs and keep tradition alive. If you ever find yourself on an LCAC don't use your helmet as a chum bucket. Won't be fun to wear after that. PL Mentoring Team Member |

| Posted almost 2 years ago Well considering you didnt break a leg or FTP, it looks as though by this time you should have made it down the reaper. If so, congrads, welcome to the family. Never forget why you joined, stay true to what youve learned and whats been instilled in you, you get out of this gun club what you put into it. Semper Fi |
