Posted about 2 years ago Started this past Monday and am loving it so far. This week has been a lot of job shadowing. My favorite place so far is Ad-Seg. Academy starts Monday for 4 weeks. 2 weeks OJT then assigned my post. Trainer says I don't seem right since I asked to shadow at ad-seg. He said I'll fit in just fine. LOL |

Most seg staff ain't right........... It's a good thing! The above comments are soley those of the poster and in no way reflect the position of the Department of Corrections. |

| Posted about 2 years ago Good luck and best wishes on your progress and eventual job assignment. It takes a special breed to become a Probation/Parole officer, and they are a much-needed part of the CJ system; I have always enjoyed going out with the state PO's whenever they ask for an assist on a recovery -- almost always ends up being a 10-80 (chase) since the subject will try most anything to avoid going back to the state pen. |
