I'm not a tech, or dispatcher, or whatever you wanna call it, but that seems pretty clear cut. It says ever. If you lie, you'll get caught and won't get the job. If you tell the truth you won't get the job. Might wanna look into other agencies, or another line of work if you can't drive that far to work.

The other agencies were too far this one ISNT and I have been putting apps in but it just doesnt even seem logical to me.  EVERYONE has done something one time or another in their life. Thanks for your opinion

This is the best advice on the polygraph you're going to find on here. http://policelink.monster.com/topics/80485-pre-employment-polygraph-read-before-you-ask/posts .

That being said, you're post says "Any person who has bought, possessed, experimented, used, or sold any felony drug will not be hired, REGARDLESS of when this occured (sp). " You said you experimented with marijuana. Marijuana usage is a misdemeanor, not a felony. A felony drug would be a narcotic, opiate, etc. (Think cocaine, heroin, Oxycontin, meth, etc.) You will still need to disclose your usage, but it wouldn't be a mandatory DQ given the information you've provided.

As to you're comment/excuse,  "EVERYONE has done something or another in their life." No, they haven't. And I would not use that as your excuse or answer when asked about your prior indiscretions. Trying to downplay your mistakes by saying, in effect, "What's the big deal, everybody does/has done it?", will not lead employers to believe you've learned from them or matured. Just my thoughts...

MH557 you are right and the information I was given about felony drugs wasnt accurate so thank you for that correction.

As far as my comment about everyone doing something in their life, I'm not using it as an excuse but as humans NOBODY is perfect and yes I understand what you are saying as well.  But again, thank you for your feedback.
