Posted almost 6 years ago I just found an excellent product for us as police officers and our friends and family to wear to show support for all of us who carry the “Thin Blue Line”. I went on E bay, of all places, and found the THIN BLUE LINE WRISTBAND… It was only like $4.99. I think its cool. I bought one for myself and my wife. I believe this is a good way to show our solidarity and support for those who have died in the line of duty. |

| Posted almost 6 years ago I have one that i bought at a local cop shop. I never take it off! I don't think you should be able to buy them on line though. To be able to buy it in my area you have to show proff of being a LEO. |

| Posted almost 6 years ago Yes, but they are also for people who want to "support" us. (freinds and family... and people who want to get out of tickets.. lol) I think anyone who wants one should have one. |

| Posted almost 6 years ago You can get the same thing through the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund, and the profits from the sales go to support the national memorial. I'll try to come back with a link for you. (I think you can get there from the Officer Down page.) |

| Posted almost 6 years ago Here is the info I found at www.nleomf.com: Gift Shop Home: Jewelry: Awareness Band
Price: 2.00
Black band encircled with a thin blue silkscreened line and embossed with the words, "Heroes Live Forever." Show your support for law enforcement! When you buy one or several bracelets, a portion of the proceeds will go to help with the cost of engraving the names of our fallen officers on the Memorial Wall. |

| Posted almost 6 years ago CK, Thank you for that link I had one just like that, that I bought at a neighborhood watch get together, had an officer ask me where I got it and I said you like it? Well you can have mine and gave it to him. You’re my hero it’s been over a year now… Now I can replace it along with a few other things that I found and like... “No one can make you feel inferior without your consent”

| Posted almost 6 years ago CK, it is cheaper on E bay.... that site charges like $8 for shipping, and the guy I bought it from on E bay donates the proceeds to ODMP too. |

| Posted almost 6 years ago No, of course not. I'm just saying. I would rather have NO MORE officers down, but this item is not only for officers down, it is also for the officers still alive and still serving. |

| Posted almost 6 years ago Be sure you are carrying a firearm while you are proudly advertising that you are a law enforcement officer. Anything that marks you as a cop, or related to a cop, raises your mark with the criminal element. I would have a fit if I found my fiance wearing anything police related if I were not with her, and packing heavy. It's great to be proud of the profession, and the support is welcomed and appreciated, but lets not ever, ever, ever place our loved ones at risk for us massaging our egos. |
