Posted over 2 years ago Who has the best coffee in town? I have a few different choices, depending on the day, and the shift. I susually take my own if I'm doing the Graves, but if I'm on days or swings, I hit up the Starbucks. I get the Hookup, so it's free ( I removed a stalker for the Barist girl and trespassed him). So, who does it for you? |

| Posted over 2 years ago The best coffee is the cup I have in front of me. So long as it's strong and black I don't care where it came from. |

| Posted over 2 years ago Have a cup to go for the start of the shift, and get it at the local gas station after that, as i work quite a ways from where i live. |

| Posted over 2 years ago Usually make some at home or pick up some at the gas station...if I get a chance for a sit down, there's a nice place that I can enjoy a cup out of the way. I can usually relax a bit there. Somewhere a true believer is training with one goal in mind...to kill you...will you be ready when you meet? | Posted over 2 years ago I make my own at home on the few occasions I do drink coffee. (the starbucks Sumatra is really good, buy it at a grocery store or something). and in northern AZ (Flagstaff) there's a few little shops named Wicked AZ. They make some good coffee! | Posted over 2 years ago I buy beans, keep them in the freezer, and grind them when I need to make coffee--and I drink it straight up, no sugar or cream. I don't bother with this (though I have tried it and it works), but if it's too acidic for you what works really well is putting in a few small pieces of egg shell (washed, of course) into the bottom of the filter with the grounds. The calcium carbonate neutralizes the acid. If I do need to buy on the run, I pick a place that is popular so there's lots of turn-over and therefore the coffee is always fresh. | Posted over 2 years ago As long as its hot and with none of that sissy stuff (milk, sugar) added, it can be from anywhere. Although Starbucks is bit strong to drink black. | Posted over 2 years ago I like to stop by the local Turkish resturant. You know it's made right when the spoon stands up straight when you are done stirring. That stuff is amazing. Beyond fatigue lies compensatory hypertrophy |

Yep--I've had that stuff. It's like espresso with tons of sugar and the grounds mixed in and served in a little bronze pot. Nice for a quick buzz, but it's not my favorite experience. Bessie Braddock: “Sir, you are drunk.” Churchill: “Madam, you are ugly. In the morning, I shall be sober.” |

| Posted over 2 years ago Dunkins is pretty good, but since we don't have a Dunkins here, I go a different route. I take a large cup with me (that I've brewed before I leave for work). Then once I hit the street, I swing by a restaurant called the Kewpee (it's a hamburger joint). They have somne of the best Yuban Coffee around. We have a Starbucks, but I'm not paying out the nose for coffee that's not that good anyway. |

| Posted over 2 years ago Sadly enough, I don't drink coffee. I do love my southern sweet tea! |

Well.. I did when I worked the stop and robs.. The men and women in blue sure appreciated it.
, but you can still buy the coffee grounds/beans at the grocery store.
