Posted over 2 years ago I was eating last night at a little homestyle restaurant in town. There was a guy in the booth directly behind me, and he was eating with his 2 kids (1 boy, about 10 or so, and 1 girl about 5 or 6) The waitress brings their food, and a moment later I hear this conversation Girl: Daddy, there's black stuff in my food Father: You mean like in the sauce? Girl: No. On the bottom, like when mommy cooks The father lost it. And I have to admit, so did I. I know you guys that have kids have some good ones. |

Me too, you (BSL) are probably too young to remember Art Linkletter and the "Kids ay the darnest things" on TV |

| Posted over 2 years ago Funny you should start this topic... I have been working out hard at the gym lately (not cause I need it mind you haha) I have been terribly sore... This morning my 7 yr old says "Mom hurry so I can get to school" I said " I am hurrying" She says "Well not fast enough, what did you get old over night?" The little brattish is going to bed early tonight!! Above all, we must realize that no arsenal, or no weapon in the arsenals of the world, is so formidable as the will and moral courage of free men and women. It is a weapon our adversaries in today’s world do not have. Ronald Reagan |

Oh come on that one was funny Leah. Even you know it "Law enforcement officers are never 'off duty.' They are dedicated public servants who are sworn to protect public safety at any time and place that the peace is threatened. They need all the help that they can get."
"My heroes are those who risk their lives every day to protect our world and make it a better place - police, firefighters and members of our armed forces."

| Posted over 2 years ago Yup. Pretty phunny right there. And dear Mr. Linkletter only passed away last year at age 97. I thoroughly enjoyed watching the Art Linkletter Show as a kid. Art Linkletters voice, along with Captain Kangaroo were voices of stability and fun during those years. No drama. Just plain wrapped fun. There were other voices, too: Don Sherwood, Bob Marsh (Captain Satellite), "Mayor' Art Finley, Russ Hodges (voice of the S.F. Giants), Eisenhower, the Kennedy's. All familiar voices. Especially Mel Blanc. Sorry to digress... |

| Posted about 1 year ago Being a Mom I rarely have time to myself. This weekend my son followed by Thor (his new puppy) comes into the bathroom and says "Mommy I wipe your butt!" To which I replied "No, thank you. I've got it! Why don't you take Thor and go play. I'll be out in a minute".... |

I have one like this too...
