"Fidelis Ad Mortem" or "Faithful Unto Death" is the motto of the NYPD.

Here is an interesting video about the history of the Department. I most point out that there are some "facts" here I happen to disagree with the Officer Lander, the creator of the video. Nevertheless, it is some nice to watch.

Thanks for posting the video, Frank.  So, now you need to tell us about the "facts" you disagree with.  (I'm betting one is where the term cop came from.)

Thanks for sharing the video, Frank. I think I have an idea what facts you disagree with (where "cops" came from, perhaps?). I also think the creator of the video should look into spell check - JEEZ.

No kidding NTS.  Like maybe the dude should've had somebody check his spelling and give them credit too?

I got a kick out of the "speacil units" one.  Excellent video though.

BUMP SISTER...!!! Yeah, that's one of them...    There are a couple more, but one must be truly familiar with the history and facts of the NYPD.

Now, I didn't mention spelling just in case BigNTS was the one who put that video together!

That is -yet- another thing I don't agree with Officer Lander: His viewpoint about spelling... LOL.

Is this my beloved (love and hate relationship...Ha!) 7-8...? It surely looks like it, at the corner of Bergen St and 6th Avenue... Anyone knows..?
