Hi, y'all. My name is Roy Odhner, and I'm an adult probation office in Johnson County, TX. I started out about 12 years ago as a correctional officer and did that for about five years, then worked parole for about four years, and have been working as a probation officer for a little over three years. I've supervised "regular" caseloads, sex offender caseloads, and a gang caseload. I'm currently back to supervising sex offenders, and I'm one of those twisted puppies that actually doesn't mind. (I get bored supervising regular knuckleheads who can't lay off the meth, and I'd rather supervise real threats to the community). I retired from the Navy in 2005 after 21.5 years (active duty and reserve).
