Would like to thank all current, retired, and prior service Soldiers, Sailors, Marines, Airmen, and Coasties alike for their service to this nation in the U.S. Military. No matter what your job is or was in the Armed Forces, you served your country when less than 1% of the U.S. population is willing or able to do the same. Much honor and respect to each and every one of you. Take care of your fellow Veterans, remember the "no man left behind" mentality hammered into our brains. And let us NEVER forget those who gave their lives in some foreign land and cannot be here today to experience the freedom they died for.

thats happened to me twice...both in the DFW airport when returning to the USA on leave from Iraq....its a hell of a feeling to have an entire airport clapping and cheering for you, people walking up to you shaking your hand, handing you cell phones....anyone who doesnt see that this is the greatest nation on earth is either blind or full of hate.

It happend to us coming home from Desert Storm. We had women coming up to us lifting their shirts and asking us to autograph their breasts!!!.... (No offense to any ladies here) But that was the greatest feeling in the world to come home and be welcomed like that, specially knowing that my Uncle didn't get the same welcome when he came home from Vietnam.
