I don't know how many people on the site, other than myself, check the forums on their phones. But when I do it's usually awkward trying to read and reply as well as get to the forums. Maybe making a different version of the site or just forum/mail section that is eaiser to use on phones would be pretty cool.

I certainly don't. I have a life. You may be taking this site way to seriously. I am teasing you of course.

I get on PL all the time on my phone. I do road construction and don't carry a computer with me, so I upgraded to an android phone. The only thing I haven't figured out yet is how to reply to the threads on my phone.

Haha, well as a college student with a boring job, I don't have much else to do while i'm on shift. So for that period of time I don't have a life. Sad I know.

I can't reply to messages in my inbox on my phone. I have a Palm. Not really sure why it won't let me.

Hey don't leave out those of us in different app markets. It's not all about the iphone haha. Android and Palm need an app too!

I'll sometimes check if I'm stuck at a hospital or something, but it's kind of hard to read the stories on my BB. The screen format looks weird.

I have a blackberry, it brings it up, just takes forever, and I hate typing huge message on a phone. It would be nice for sure to have a mobile version of the site!

I still use rotary stuff..........having a hard time finding a keyboard / monitor that works on a rotary system. Let me know if you find one and I'll ride my mule into town and trade a few pelts for the stuff.............even pick up a few rounds of jerky and some ammo for my 6 shooter. ....Can't be too costly though - last trip to town cost me 2 dollars to fix the wheels on my wagon and get old bessie shoed.

It is what it is.............and.........these things too shall pass.

I am posting this from my Droid X. When you want to post, click on the "Source" button and type away! If you are using the quote feature, place your cursor after the text and jargon before you type.

Thanks for the help gn13, I have refrained from posting anything all summer because I didn't know how to post a reply. If I posted something it would have been two weeks before I could reply to anything.

I have been asking for a mobile site for years now. Probably about two. I decided to search the forums and BAM! So excited. A mobile version would be great as this site has a lot of links and is hard to use on a mobile brower! i would log on police link a lot more if there was a mobile version. Maybe a set up like facebooks. an app with a messages section etc. Just saying.........

Hoping for one!

Until all the recent issues with the HTML were resolved, I could do a lot on this site with my Droid X.  Now, the "Source" button is gone from the forum screen and I can no longer post from my phone.

Does anyone know if this feature wil be returning?

I would love a mobile version.  And it makes complete sense that a LEO site would have a mobile version becuase 95% of us are in cars for long periods of time.

They have their hands full battling spammers and trolls.  Just as in everything else, a few ruin things for many.
