Posted over 2 years ago This is an older one (Superbowl XXXIX), and you may have seen it before. But this is the way the National Anthem should be sung, courtesy of the U.S. Military!! (If this doesn't put a lump in your throat and fill your heart with PRIDE, consider moving to another country)

Posted over 2 years ago Deep. A National Anthem done correctly, not for showmanship. As Police Officer's, we can please some of the people most of the time, most of the people some of the time and all of the people none of the time.

Posted over 2 years ago I don't care what day it is, Memorial Day, Veteran's Day, Flag Day, every day should be soldier recognition day. The next time you see a soldier, walking down the street, eating in a restaurant or having a drink at the bar before he/she deploys or is returning, Thank them. Buy their lunch, buy them a drink, extend your hand or simply pat them on the back. Tell a soldier, Thank You.

Amen! and Awesome video...
The other day I ran into a gentleman in my store that was wearing a World War 2 Veteran hat with flags and carnations on it, I reached out my hand and said Sir, Thank you for your Service Sir.
This veterans eyes welled up and he held my hand tight, He then pulled me in and gave me a very Big and Strong hugg.
It made me wonder as my eyes filled up, How many regular folks as my self have let this great Warrior know they appreciate his service and sacrifice. HUM!
I sat down in my Mall eating lunch about an hour later and I felt a hand on my shoulder, as I turned around it was him, he said you are an Angel.
I said thank you again Sir and then he was just gone, I had to ask my friend where did he go? We could not find him after that.
It was so very cool.....
Thank you all for your Service and Sacrifice, and God Bless America

Posted over 2 years ago It was wonderful. I may have heard that song over a thousand times at games and programs, but I still get choked up sometimes. Especially when my husband, a Marine, was in Iraq. Thanks for the video.

Posted over 2 years ago Outstanding!! It gave me chills to listen to it. The brave have always defined what the rest of us wish to be. But bravery is misunderstood. It is not the absence of fear, but the will to overcome it.

| Posted over 2 years ago If you didn't notice (and if you did, but are wondering), there are several elderly black gentlemen in red jackets and red ball caps standing with the choir. These are surviving members of the famed Tuskegee Airmen of WWII http://www.tuskegeeairmen.org/
