Posted almost 3 years ago I have a writen test next week but I am wondering is this a good department to work, I am currently working AZDOC in the middle of nowere and this position is in vegas.
can you give me any feedback before I reserve the fligth. one of the main reasons is the money they starting pay is like an 8 yrs expirience pay in my department.
any suggestions

| Posted almost 3 years ago actually I have almost a year working for the department but here the pay is not that grea and I have to wait 8 years to get pay what they offer as starting pay |

| Posted almost 3 years ago Compare the cost of living and the "real" pay you will receive. Then compare the bene's and working conditions and figure out what you want. Your profile says that you live in CA- why not work for one of their many agencies which pretty much all pay more than AZ? | Posted almost 3 years ago yes I moved from CA to AZ because the county were I used to lived is passing for a serious unemployment crisis, I moved 500 miles in order to get a job, as you can see I like to do what it takes in order to offer to my family a better life. I been checking the CA Department of Corrections website but they still in hiring freeze, now is getting more dificult but not imposible to get a job. may be you are not going to belived it but here in Safford AZ is more expensive to lived than Nevada.

| Posted almost 3 years ago I believe it. I was looking at AZ a couple of years ago. If you feel you'll be better off in Nevada then I say go for it! Just don't leave AZ in bad standing you know.
