GRAND FORKS, N.D. (AP) - Authorities have recovered a body believed to be that of a Manvel man whose brother recently bailed out of jail, and they say the brother will face charges in the death.
The Grand Forks County Sheriff's Department said Rodney Chisholm was to appear in court on Thursday afternoon in the death of 59-year-old Donald Chisholm.
The 45-year-old Rodney Chisholm, also of rural Manvel, was arrested Friday on suspicion of possessing more than $100,000 in farm equipment stolen in North Dakota and Minnesota. He bailed out of jail Saturday, then allegedly stole another brother's car and drove to Nebraska, where he was arrested Sunday.
Donald Chisholm had not been heard from since June 25. Authorities said they discovered what they believe is his body Wednesday evening on family property northeast of Mekinock.
