The best -and only- advise I can give you is to consult an Attorney. I mean, I'm sure the Officers arresting you told you something like: "...You have the right to consult an Attorney... If you can't efford it... One will be provided to you at no charge..." Or... Something similar... So... Get a lawyer. He/She will know much better than any of us what your options are... SORRY.

I agree to this comment.. Seek an attorney.

just follow the advice that the attorney gave you. Get some help from a therapist or something. You will feel a lot better.. Also, take things day by day and don't panic.

Just remember to follow the advice of your lawyer...

I did get an attorney...she asked me to get help for my depression because of the two deaths in my family..and to call her in a month...I've never been in trouble before..so I don't know anything about probation..tthe attorney said it will be hard to move it to LA...but how is that possible if being in texas without family and friends can only hurt my chances of getting my life together after such a tramatic thing as losing the only person that really loved and cared for me...truly...not saying my family doesnt...but I can have a job in LA and carry on with my unemployment now..it sucks that it took this for friends to try to help me get some work...so again...now I have a job to go to...in Texas..I have no job, no income, no home, no nothing...thank you for at least replying...=/

You know... I hate to say this to you but I have no choice: Law Enforcement Officers are not LAWYERS. We are not lawyers.

You commited a crime in the State of TX, and you'll have to deal with it in the State of TX. What your options are... Only a Lawyer can give you advise on... Please don't pass the burden of given you any sort of advise in complex Jurisdictions Matters to anyone here. If your lawyer told you it would be hard... Well, it would be HARD... ASK HIM/HER... Not us here...

That is... Unless you are here "fishing" for advise you can use later in a different "Medium"... I hope that's not the case...

It's to bad you got yourself into this predicament but you broke the law and now your going to have to live with the consequences.   Follow your attorney's advice, period.

you really are so brutal...do you not understand that I have had someone that gave everything up for me just recently DIE? Do you not understand that anyone can make a simple MISTAKE? it is horrible that I put myself in this position and I am BEATING myself up for it every second of the day because I have not only hurt myself..I have hurt those that love me! I have disappointed God and my family...I have ruined everything I have worked hard for...for 34yrs of my life! I didn't know it was a crime to ask questions of those that probably know a tad more than I do...if you don't like my posts...sir, please don't reply...but there are people out there with a HEART and know when you are under sever amounts of stress, you can make an error in judgement...I have lost so much this past year! I have worked my ass off for my flight job and lost it without the ability to find another one in almost a year!!!! I have had eviction letters, fear that I will be living on the street when not too long ago, I was driving my beautiful car, smiled all day long at work, helping so many disabled people and going out of my way for them on my flights...and you post on here in such a manner that is so devestating to someone like me when I am doing everything in my power to be optimistic and not just take my life because I don't know how to live with the pain I have caused myseld and those around me that actually care about my existance...

I am not "brutal"... I do understand people make mistakes... But, when that "mistake" is a crime, regardless of its level... I can only look at it from the viewpoint of a Law Enforcement Officer... SORRY AGAIN.

We are Cops here... Not Lawyers. You made a "mistake" and committed a crime... Sorry about your family situations, but if you ask me... Most of the individuals we arrest have some sort of "excuses" for their crimes... Small Time or Big Time... It's irrelevant to me, if you break the law, you must pay the consequences... The Law also protects YOU, by providing Legal Counselor -even free of charge- to protect your rights... So talk to ONE OF THEM... And PLEASE... Don't entice anyone here into giving you any legal advise. WE ARE NOT LAWYERS, BUT COPS...

If I was arrested in Texas, I'd probably go to California too.
