| Posted almost 3 years ago The best -and only- advise I can give you is to consult an Attorney. I mean, I'm sure the Officers arresting you told you something like: "...You have the right to consult an Attorney... If you can't efford it... One will be provided to you at no charge..." Or... Something similar... So... Get a lawyer. He/She will know much better than any of us what your options are... SORRY. |

| Posted almost 3 years ago just follow the advice that the attorney gave you. Get some help from a therapist or something. You will feel a lot better.. Also, take things day by day and don't panic. Just remember to follow the advice of your lawyer... "Ladies and Gentlemen, take my advice. You know... I hate to say this to you but I have no choice: Law Enforcement Officers are not LAWYERS. We are not lawyers. You commited a crime in the State of TX, and you'll have to deal with it in the State of TX. What your options are... Only a Lawyer can give you advise on... Please don't pass the burden of given you any sort of advise in complex Jurisdictions Matters to anyone here. If your lawyer told you it would be hard... Well, it would be HARD... ASK HIM/HER... Not us here... That is... Unless you are here "fishing" for advise you can use later in a different "Medium"... I hope that's not the case... |

It's to bad you got yourself into this predicament but you broke the law and now your going to have to live with the consequences. Follow your attorney's advice, period. YaYa Sister |

I am not "brutal"... I do understand people make mistakes... But, when that "mistake" is a crime, regardless of its level... I can only look at it from the viewpoint of a Law Enforcement Officer... SORRY AGAIN. We are Cops here... Not Lawyers. You made a "mistake" and committed a crime... Sorry about your family situations, but if you ask me... Most of the individuals we arrest have some sort of "excuses" for their crimes... Small Time or Big Time... It's irrelevant to me, if you break the law, you must pay the consequences... The Law also protects YOU, by providing Legal Counselor -even free of charge- to protect your rights... So talk to ONE OF THEM... And PLEASE... Don't entice anyone here into giving you any legal advise. WE ARE NOT LAWYERS, BUT COPS... |

| Posted almost 3 years ago If I was arrested in Texas, I'd probably go to California too. (I HAD to say it, I couldn't pass it up!!) Adapt, improvise and overcome.
