PL Member Killed - In the Line of Duty: "mtbonavy"

Posted about 1 year ago This memorial remembrance was updated on 1-23-09. Matt Thebeau was killed in the line of duty one year ago on 1-20-08. He was our first acknowledged death from our PoliceLink family. Respectfully, The Sarge.
My dear friend and brother, Officer Matt Thebeau, was killed just a short time ago while responding to a call. Matt Thebeau has served with the Corpus Christi Police Department for less than 2 years and now he is gone. He was struck by a car and ejected. Additionally he was struck by another vehicle and was pronounced deceased at the hospital. He will be greatly missed not only by family but by the ones he touched the most, his brothers and sisters in law enforcement. "T- Bo", I will miss you brother. Thebeau.....My prayers go out to all who knew Officer Thebeau, Iv'e been there before and know what it's like to lose a brother, just know that he is in a better place now and will be watching over you until it is your time to join him.....God Bless you and stay strong my friend! |

I did not get a chance to converse much with you, but I want to thank you for your service to our nation and communities. You had a big influence on a lot of us.

My heart is broken for our, and his families loss. Rest well Brother. Everything you do can get you killed, including doing nothing at all.. |

| Posted about 1 year ago I had the opportunity to know matt aka T-BO. although i didnt know him well he was a good man and his life was ended way too soon. all of us here at the dept will remember you forever T-BO. we wont forget and ill patrol with you again one day. |
