Getting hired at Dallas P.D.

Posted about 3 years ago Hello everyone,
Does anyone know of the current hiring status of Dallas Police Department? They were hiring 400 a year for the past few years and are now hiring just enough to cover attrition. (From what I understand anyhow) I tested with them last month and am waiting to hear back on when I begin the background investigation. I've got military, nearly got my bachelors degree, and work as a corrections officer at a police department. I am really hopeful on getting this job.
Any information would be great.

| Posted about 3 years ago I can't speak about Dallas, but my agency is in a hiring freeze. So are most of the agencies in the surrounding area. Tax revenues are down and that effects EVERYTHING. Best of luck in the hiring process. PL Mentoring Team Member My day begins when yours ends. |
