Synthetic Grass for K9 Training

Posted about 3 years ago I am the owner of Arizona Turf Masters in Phoenix, AZ. We have been contacted by a K9 unit of one of the local police departments who wants to install our Synthetic grass in their K9 Training facility. Their biggest concerns are will the artificial grass blades somehow damage or tear the paws of the dogs when doing a full speed run with abrupt stop. And are there any other negative aspects of using synthetic Grass for the facility? I would appreciate any feedback you might have. |

First, may I suggest that you follow the TOU's by posting an introduction? Second, I'm not sure of how synthetic grass looks or feels but before I worry about the dog's paws.....what about "clean-up"? At least with natural grass, urine, etc seeps into the ground and its gone but what about the synthetic grass? I'd be very concerned if we can't clean the area properly.... |
