Minot school bus hits cow, 8 have minor injuries

MINOT, N.D. (AP) — Eight members of a Minot middle school boys basketball team suffered minor injuries when the school bus they were in hit a cow on the road and went into the ditch Monday night. School District Transportation Director Barry Brooks says the crash happened about 10 miles north of Hazen on N.D. Highway 1806. The bus carrying 20 Jim Hill Middle School students, two coaches and the driver was returning from a game at Beulah. The injured students were treated at a Hazen medical center and released. Brooks says the most seriously injured boy had a cut on his head that required stitches. Brooks says the bus driver was not cited. |

| Posted about 3 years ago Seriously, glad everyone on the bus made it through all right. Now for the big question. . . . .what happened to the cow? Did it come through with just scratches also or is it now becoming steaks? |
