I've been seeing a lot of products out on the internet that state they can block or jam lasers Such as Lidar. If they are for real, wouldent that be highly illegal.

this is an honest to god true story about a woman that lived right down the street from my grandfathers home...an old woman had one of her family members run down by a car in a residentual neighborhood due to s speeding motorist. She tried to get the local PD here to set up a radar on her street. Of course, they said no but the funny thing about it, the old woman went out onto the street to do her own "radar speed trap". It sure worked, everyone was slowing down when they saw her. In fact, one police cruiser just happen by there and stopped to chit chat with the old woman.
They had to question her why she was out on the street next to the sidewalk,pointing a hair dryer at passing motorist....lol.
