Dealing with a injury and retirement

Posted almost 6 years ago I have had the miss fortune of being injured in the line of duty. I am being forced to retire by my Doctors and my Chief. Does anyone have any thoughts or suggestions on dealing with the loss of my lifelong dream? I am only 36 YOA, and plan on attending school for Forensics. However it rips my heart out when a Patrol car goes by and I see that the person inside is not one of the deserving ones. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. |

| Posted almost 6 years ago Yes good pension. and there are grants you can apply for to go to college. especially in the field of criminal justice.
