Posted almost 6 years ago my husband pulled a car over one night and the guy said I left a tab at the titty bar and had to go home to get some more money. Needless to say he got a one way ticket to jail.

Posted almost 6 years ago "a pie in the oven" is what a lady told me after I pulled her over for going 60 something in a 25mph flashing school zone. She got a ticket.

Posted almost 6 years ago Once when I was riding along, we stopped a speeder. I stayed in the car for this one, and when the officer came back to the car, he was shaking his head and said, "Wrong answer!" I asked what the driver had said, and he had said, "I'm sorry, officer, but it was snowing so hard I couldn't see the speed limit sign!" Doh! So the officer wrote out the ticket, delivered it to the driver and came back to the cruiser shaking his head more. "Another wrong answer!" I asked what it was this time, and the driver had said, "You can't give me a ticket! My boss said he'd fire me if I got another ticket!" Doh X 10!

Posted almost 6 years ago My partner motor officer stops a guy driving solo (no one else on the road) for 45 in a 35 on radar. "You were doing 45 in a 35." "No I wasn't." "No, sir, my radar locked you in at 45." "No, I wasn't." Surprised at his matter-of-fact response, my partner officer asked why he was saying "No, I wasn't." "Because your radar is wrong. I was doing 55, not 45." Partner officer laughed so hard he let him go with a 'verbal warning'.

Posted almost 6 years ago I stopped a car because the driver had no seatbelt on. The driver exited the vehicle and was waving a paper yelling that I was wrong to stop him for "my" stupid law. I read the paper and it was a doctors note saying that the subject had paranoia when wearing a seatbelt. I took some more verbal abuse about being stupid for stopping him for no seatbelt and why, when there was so much crime on the street that I would stop him for a law that "I" made.... after the ticket, he drove away... with no seatbelt on.... I just let it go...
