I am wondering, if you had surgery before you apply to be a police officer what injuries would exempt you from applying? For example, I had an acl injury 2 yrs ago and I'm working at 100%, but I am wondering if I won't be allowed to apply. Please let me hear your opinion(s). Thnx!

As long as you are fully recovered, can pass the pre-employment physical and meet the PT standards of the academy then you will be fine.  Surgery is not an automatic DQ for LE employment.

Retleo, as a moderator, you might as well move this to LE careers so the poster can read replies.
